Central to America's rise to global leadership is our Judeo-Christian tradition with the vision of the goodness and possibilities of every human life.

Freedom. Freedom of religion. Freedom to speak their mind. Freedom to build a life. And yes, freedom to build a business. With their own hands. This is the essence of the American experience.

I look around the world, I don't see America's influence growing around the world. I see our influence receding, in part because of the failure of Barack Obama to deal with our economic challenges at home; in part because of our withdrawal from our commitment to our military in the way I think it ought to be; in part because of the turmoil with Israel.

Washington is broken. I know what it takes to get this country back, and will work with good Democrats and good Republicans to do that.

We in America can compete successfully with anyone in the world, and we're going to.

I like the Twilight series. I thought it was fun. I don’t like vampires personally, I don’t know any; but you know my granddaughter was reading it and I thought, well this looks like fun so I read that.

I do not favor same-sex marriage. I oppose same-sex marriage, and that has been my view. But, but if people are looking for someone who will discriminate against gays or will in any way try and suggest that people that have different sexual orientation don't have full rights in this country, they won't find that in me.
