I'm a big believer in getting money from where the money is, and the money is in Washington. I learned from running the Olympics that you can get money there to help build economic opportunities. We actually got over $410 million from the federal government; that is a huge increase over anything ever done before. We did that by going after every agency of government. That kind of creativity I want to bring to everything we do (in Massachusetts).

Let me put it very plainly, if we Republicans choose Donald Trump as our nominee, the prospects for a safe and prosperous future are greatly diminished.

I have paid taxes every year, a lot of taxes.

Instead of leading the world by how much we borrow, it's time that we make sure we lead the world in how much we build and create and invest.

Frankly if I had paid more than are legally due I don't think I'd be qualified to become president.

What America needs is jobs. Lots of jobs.

I've always opposed gay marriage. I believe that we should provide equal rights to people regardless of their sexual orientation but I do not believe that marriage should be between two people of the same gender.
