I want to invest in research. Research is great. Providing funding to universities and think tanks is great. But investing in companies? Absolutely not.

And this President wakes up every morning, looks out across America and is proud to announce, 'It could be worse.' It could be worse? Is that what it means to be an American? It could be worse? Of course not. What defines us as Americans is our unwavering conviction that we know it must be better.

When I place my hand on the Bible and take the oath of office, that oath becomes my highest promise to God. For those who have come here illegally, they might have a transition time to allow them to set their affairs in order. And then go back home and get in line with everybody else. And if they get in line and they apply to become a citizen and get a green card, they will be treated like everybody else.
