People say it's a movie about boxing, but... I don't agree at all. I don't think it's a movie about boxing. Boxing is like a platform. It's just a stage where this is played out.

If this population keeps growing, we’ll just keep devouring the planet, and I don’t think it’s going to stand for that very long.

I seldom get into the mood of the story. It's acting. I go in, I act, I quit. I don't take anything away from it.
