It is not enough for us to say: I love God, but I do not love my neighbour. St. John says you are a liar if you say you love God and you don't love your neighbour. How can you love God whom you do not see, if you do not love your neighbour whom you see, whom you touch, with whom you live.

People are hungry for something more beautiful, for something greater than people round about can give. There is a great hunger for God in the world today. Everywhere there is much suffering, but there is also great hunger for God and love for each other.

Life is a song, sing it. Life is a struggle, accept it.

Without patience, we will learn less in life. We will see less. We will feel less. We will hear less. Ironically, rush and more usually mean less.

Very less to say, I can make one Catholic or Protestant.

The poor are our brothers and sisters ... people in the world who need love, who need care, who have to be wanted.

Prayer is the breath of life to our soul; holiness is impossible without it
