I alone cannot change the world, but I can cast a stone across the waters to create many ripples.

God speaks in the silence of the heart, and we listen. And then we speak to God from the fullness of our heart, and God listens. And this listening and this speaking is what prayer is meant to be.

Prayer feeds the soul - as blood is to the body, prayer is to the soul - and it brings you closer to God.

Let us not use bombs and guns to overcome the world. Let us use love and compassion. Peace begins with a smile-smile five times a day at someone you don't really want to smile at at all-do it for peace. So let us radiate peace...and extinguish in the world and in the hearts of all men all hatred and love for power.

Prayer to be fruitful must come from the heart and must be able to touch the heart of God.

Do not wait for leaders; do it alone, person to person.

Give! Give the love you have received to those around you. You must love with your time, your hands, and your hearts. You need to share all that you have.
