Love means to be willing to give until it hurts.

There is a tremendous strength that is growing in the world through sharing together, praying together, suffering together, and working together.

Love cannot remain by itself - it has no meaning. Love has to be put into action, and that action is service. Whatever form we are, able or disabled, rich or poor, it is not how much we do, but how much love we put in the doing; a lifelong sharing of love with others.

God made the world for the delight of human beings.

In Calcutta alone, we have given more than 1,000 children in adoption. I cannot calculate how many babies we get a year. But we never refuse anybody. Everybody is most welcome.

I feel that the greatest destroyer of peace today is abortion, because it is a war against the child, a direct killing of the innocent child, murder by the mother herself.

Do not allow yourselves to be disheartened by any failure as long as you have done your best.
