Let us be very sincere in our dealings with each other, and have the courage to accept each other as we are. Do not be surprised or become preoccupied at each other's failures - rather, see and find in each other the good, for each one of us is created in the image of God.

Love cannot remain by itself - it has no meaning. Love has to be put into action and that action is service.

Our poverty is freedom. This is our poverty - the giving up our freedom to dispose of things, to choose, to possess

I never looked at the masses as my responsibility. I can only love one person at a time. So I began. I picked up one person. Maybe if I didn't pick up that one person, I wouldn't have picked up forty-two thousand.

Give, but give until it hurts.

Life is love, enjoy it. Life is mystery, know it. Life is a promise, fulfill it.

There should be less talk. A preaching point is not a meeting point.
