We need silence to be alone with God, to speak to him, to listen to him, to ponder his words deep in our hearts. We need to be alone with God in silence to be renewed and transformed. I think the world today is upside down, and is suffering so much, because there is so very little love in the homes and in family life.

The first time I received an award, I was very surprised. I did not know whether to accept it or not.
