Man is like an onion. His potential is exposed one layer at a time until all he is, is known by all.
Myles MunroeI discovered that success has very little to do with education or race or disposition; it has more to do with principles and following those principles.
Myles MunroeWe need to define what culture is. Every human being lives within a culture, and culture means "To grow in." It means to literally fall, and this is exactly what I believe is happening all around us right now.
Myles MunroeWhen we evaluate the rightness or wrongness of actions or behavior, we need to ask ourselves if that behavior will edifyโbuild upโourselves or someone else, or if it will tear down. The question is not what we can get away with, but what is healthy and edifying. When it is all said and done, are we edified spiritually? Have we been built up and strengthened in our relationship with the Lord or with our spouse, or have we been weakened? Do we come away encouraged or discouraged, confident or filled with a sense of guilt or shame? Is our conscience clean?
