[the Republicans] have come up with nothing. They say repeal and replace. That has alliteration. But that's all it has going for it because they don't have a replacement. What they have put forth and outlined will cost more to consumers. It will cover fewer people. It will give tax breaks to the wealthiest people.

I think that people have great anger over what happened in 2008 in terms of the economy.

Republicans always are gearing whatever they do to benefit the high end.

Lincoln said, public sentiment is everything. We have to listen to the people and come together as we prioritize our agenda and go forward.

Let's respect the dignity of women to make their own decisions about the size and timing of their families.

I believe that the president's (Bush) leadership in the actions taken in Iraq demonstrate an incompetence in terms of knowledge, judgment and experience in making the decisions that would have been necessary to truly accomplish the mission without the deaths to our troops and the cost to our taxpayers.
