If you were your own employer, would you be entirely satisfied with the day’s work you have done today?

The subconscious mind is more susceptible to influence by impulses of thought mixed with 'feeling' or emotion, than by those originating solely in the reasoning portion of the mind.

The majority of people are ready to throw their aims and purposes overboard, and give up at the first sign of opposition or misfortune. A few carry on DESPITE all opposition, until they attain their goal. These few are the Fords, Carnegies, Rockefellers, and Edisons. There may be no heroic connotation to the word persistence, but the quality is to the character of man what carbon is to steel.

Every person who wins in any undertaking must be willing to burn his ships and cut all sources of retreat.

Failure is not a disgrace if you have sincerely done your best.

One thing we all know, if one does not possess PERSISTENCE, one does not achieve noteworthy success in any calling.

Remember, no more effort is required to aim high in life, to demand abundance and prosperity, than is required to accept misery and poverty.
