The young generation of today is globally connected. They want to live in an equitable and efficient India. We have to be ready for this, and work for this.

By saying Make in India, we are not only inviting companies for cost-effective manufacturing, but also giving them an opportunity of a large market for their products.

The budget is forward looking growth engine and will promote transparency and integrity. It is for the common people. This budget shows where we want to take India through railways. It budget aspires for better service, speed and safety. It is an effort to create modern railways contributing towards a developed India.

BRICS must provide a united and clear voice in shaping a peaceful, balanced and stable world. We must harness each other's strengths, in knowledge, skills and resources.

In fact, the most important reforms are those needed, without new laws, at various levels of Government, in work practices and procedures.

My central focus is creating employment for the ordinary citizen.
