Dr Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan served this country well, he did not celebrate his birthday, he celebrated it for teachers.

India is a country of 1.25 billion people. We can't run our country if we get worried about every small thing. At the same time, we can't close our eyes to problems. That's why India maintains that we are now in a different era. We are not living in the eighteenth century. China is also a country with an ancient cultural heritage. Look at how it has focused on economic development. It's hardly the sign of a country that wants to be isolated. It wants to stay connected.

We live in an inter-dependent world. An isolated India is not in our interest.

The importance of a journey is not measured by the distance covered, but by the destination reached.

Unity in diversity is India's strength. There is simplicity in every Indian. There is unity in every corner of India. This is our strength.

The work to eradicate corruption must begin from the top. It is spread like termite in our country. We have to work at all levels to eradicate corruption

My concern is the holistic development of society. No one should go back, everyone must move forward. Enough time has been spent going backwards; now let us pledge to stride ahead, whether it's in education, health, agriculture or education of our daughters. This Government belongs to the poor. It is to support the destitute.
