The budget is forward looking growth engine and will promote transparency and integrity. It is for the common people. This budget shows where we want to take India through railways. It budget aspires for better service, speed and safety. It is an effort to create modern railways contributing towards a developed India.

I think that the world that was behind us has gone ahead. We need to run a lot to match that level. So we do not need to calculate. We just need to give it all in. And I have given myself in completely. I've been successful is pulling my entire government in. I believe that India is also committed to moving forward.

It is a tribute to Indian democracy that a person from a poor family, an ordinary family, is today addressing the nation from the Red Fort.

Do you share my belief in Swami Vivekananda's dream that India will be a Jagad Guru once again? I see no reason for India to be left behind.

The image of a country is not just about economic and military strength. The soft face of a country also makes a difference. Sports are one such soft power which can capture the world's attention to India.

Self-certification may look like a small vision but there cannot be a greater decision for a Government to trust the honesty of the 1.25 billion people of the country.

However advanced the technology may become, life is impossible without humanity, and that's why we need a combination of science of thinking and art of living!
