Jan Bhagidari is the biggest asset of a democracy. We are increasing it through MyGov, letters from citizens, Mann Ki Baat and other initiatives.

My definition of secularism is very clear. The sole religion of the Government is Nation First, the holy book is the Constitution.

Harnessing e-governance moves the access to governance from long queues at offices to any internet point. In Gujarat, our UN awarded widely acclaimed SWAGAT e-governance system ensures that long-term grievances are resolved through use of online applications and video-conferencing across all district and block offices.

The Ayodhya judgment will work as a catalyst to maintain peace and unity in the country. This judgment has given a respect to belief and self esteem of the people of India, and it should be linked to self esteem of the country.

Salary is not life- be it fifty-hundred-thousand or five thousand rupees. Every great man gives the credit of his development to his teacher. What else can bring more happiness for a teacher?

World talks GDP but in Bhutan its about National Happiness. Am sure having India as a neighbour would be 1 of the reasons for the happiness.

I will try to live up to expectations of people; will present report card to people in 2019.
