Over an extended period of time, if a culture does not entail any traditions...if there are no values or if there is no awareness or social consciousness...a heritage tradition can never be developed.

Prime Minister Jan Dhan Yojana is a reflection of how rich India's poor are at heart. Without any obligation to put any money in the 0 balance accounts, they didn't open an empty account.

It is my absolute belief that Indians have unlimited talent. I have no doubt about our capabilities. I have a lot of faith in the entrepreneurial nature of our 1.25 billion people. There is a lot of capability. And I have a clear road-map to channel it.

I see the role of IT as a change agent. It empowers, connects and can bind isolated parts of India and create harmony. IT can join people with governments, bridge the gap between demand and supply, and can bring us closer to knowledge.

When I came here in 1999, all one could hear was the sound of the guns as guns were booming all around. Today I am only hearing clapping of hands.

I am a small man who wants to do big things for small people.

India's role is not to interfere in what Nepal does but to support Nepal in their development. Nepal should scale new heights of progress.
