I didn't become CM on 07-10-2001. I have always been CM, I am CM today and shall be CM forever. For me CM means not Chief Minister but Common Man.

Lakhs of families in the country are deprived of energy connectivity. Fruits of development will not reach the common man until energy connectivity reaches every last household of the country. In the age of globalization, we have no option but to make a quantum leap in energy production and connectivity.

People of India who work day and night, they are my inspiration. I look at them and I work even harder.

Even after so many decades of Independence there are 18,500 villages in India which do not have electricity. We affirm our commitment to provide electricity to all those villages that do not have electricity.
