The mantra of independence was Satyagraha. And the warriors were Satyagrahis. The mantra of New Age India must be Swachhagrah. And the warriors will be Swachhagrahis.

Team Work is the essence of good governance. It is necessary to form a team within the party and also within the administrative system.

Religion to me is devotion to work and devotedly working is being religious.

Philosophically, I feel that India will progress only if we work as teams.

There is no red tapism in my state, only red carpet.

Youngsters inspired by Maoism have taken the gun and are spilling blood on streets, but our land needs the colour of progress not the colour of blood. Maoists must not have the gun in their hands, instead they must have agriculture tools and pens so that they can serve others. Raasta kalam, hal aur pasine ka hai, khoon ka nahi.

In fact, the most important reforms are those needed, without new laws, at various levels of Government, in work practices and procedures.
