I don't want to be the next anyone. I just want to be me, now. And that means all different things.

I'm very honest in my music and I'm often asked to explain the lyrics; as an introvert, I find that quite hard. And I always wear high heels on stage, which can be painful.

I liked English and art and did a lot of painting. And for some reason I was good at math, but I wasn't an A student. I really had to work hard to get good grades.

It's common knowledge that in the entertainment industry there's a lot of craziness that goes down, and it's really hard for anyone to stay sane. It's not a very natural environment to be in for too long. It's not very healthy.

I get very deep into the writing and recording process.

I hate that feeling of being so full that you feel like you're gonna burst, so I try not to do that.

Hope is such a powerful thing. We all have hope for different things, but I think sometimes we need to share our hope with other people. We're sometimes in our own issues, and it isolates us, but when we come together and encourage each other and give a little bit of hope, it can, like it says in the song, go a long way.
