The new spirituality will bring about what I'm calling the 'end of better.' And that is in fact what is called for in the next of the series of books that I've been writing.

I recognize thart even you, yourself, will change. Your ideals will change, your tastes will change, your desires will change. Your whole understandings of who you are had better change, because if it doesn't change, you've become a very static personality over a great many years, and nothing would displease me more. And so I recognize that the process of evolution will produce changes in you.

You are okay just the way you are... and so is everybody else. Sometimes we want the kind of acceptance that we are not willing to give. Yet life is a two-way street, and we do so much better when we send to others what we want them to send to us. Just a gentle reminder today that you are wonderful, and the person right next to you is, too!

I believe God wants you to know that you can remain in your present idea about yourself, or you can choose again. I like the idea of choosing again. Glorify who you are today, do not condemn who you were yesterday, and dream of who you can be tomorrow.

Be gentle with yourself. Kiss away your (imagined) faults and remember, if you saw you as God sees you, you would smile a lot.

Look at the history of civil laws in our world and the source from which they emerged, and you will see that the vast majority of them arose directly from, or where based in principle on, Roman Canon Law, or the laws of other religious origin. Sharia is another notable example.

Drop the thought that you cannot affect the future. Tell yourself that the future is not coming TO you, it is coming THROUGH you. The change that is coming to you is that change that you place in your future with the thoughts, words, and actions of today
