Fashion to me is very emotional. It's my strongest form of self-expression, and I love wearing a piece of clothing where I feel like I can run around at any moment and dance in it. So you know, I guess when I'm designing, I want the clothes to feel celebratory and feel very light and fun and feel like you could move seamlessly.

I think it's really important as a creative director, to always keep your ears on the ground and always surround yourself with people who've been in the business longer than you to really think of new and creative ways to present your designs to girls.

I think fame is harder when people have something to hide, but I'm very comfortable, and have nothing to hide.

It's not me that's obsessed with my weight, it's everyone else. I know that I'm healthy, so I don't really feel the need to answer to anyone. I've never substituted a meal for a salad in my life.

I don't trust valets, waiters - nobody. I don't waste my time anymore trying to figure out who leaks things to the press.

I've just gone through so much in my life that pulling my top up just doesn't seem like that big a deal.

I tend to dress a little more sophisticated than most women do.
