Oh my god. I just hung around with an unpretty person. Excuse me while I go home to scrub myself with expensive body wash and a pink loofah, to rid myself of the unpretty germs.

With every year, I always try and learn something new and grow gracefully, and that's just kind of my rule for every year.

A fashion icon to me is somebody who has, the first person who struck you and introduced you to the world of fashion, and that person is my mom.

I am naturally a thin person and I am 5'1" and putting on five or 10 pounds, that looks like a lot on me.

I'm hugely inspired by the '60s and the '70s. I just love the music of that time and the overall freedom of that era. I love that the idea of clashing didn't really exist. You could mix prints on prints, you could mix fabrics and colors - and it was more about the way you felt than about the label and trends. That's something that I've always gravitated towards.

I do love to shop. But I'm a social shopper. I like to do it while hanging out with my friends. Some of them hate shopping because they treat it like something you have to plan, like a grocery list. But if I'm out and I pass a store, I just pop in.

I try to focus less on the actual items and more on the way they make me feel. I like color around my face because it does something to me emotionally. I don't like to wear black because it brings me down.
