When you grow up in Bel Air and shop only in expensive boutiques on Rodeo and Robertson, you develop a kind of allergy to anything unpretty -clothes, cars... even people... you start thinking that if you hang around unattractive people, their homeliness can be contagious.

It's hard to tell who has your back, from who has it long enough just to stab you in it.

Being a mentor is something that's new for me but a role that I take very seriously.

Australia is one of my favorite places in the world. I spend a lot of time there. And I find Sydney a lot like LA in some ways, and it's beautiful, great for kids, and I absolutely love it over there.

My job ranges from creating the initial overall theme of the season, to developing fabrics and sketching to sampling and fitting.
