It was a tough experience with Alan Horn, who didn't like anything that was R-rated. So you can imagine he hated some of my films.

Obama is now fighting for his life. He's fighting for a federal government. I believe in a federal government. I hope it sticks around. We had the American Revolution. There was this whole tension between the federalists and the anti-federalists. Then we had the Civil War. We had Lincoln fighting for it. And the secessionists were there. And we have the same issue today.

But I suppose film is distinctive because of its nature, of its being able to cut through time with editing.

Bernie Sanders is a disappointment on foreign policy, totally doesn't think about it. But he has the possibility to be more isolationist, which would be good for us actually.
