When you forget that you need Allah, He puts you in a situation that causes you to call upon him. And that's for your own good.

If you complain that Allah is testing you too much, you're failing the test.

When people wear you out, spend some time in isolation with Allah and your relationship with Him will improve as well as with the people.

Never forget the favors done for you. Always forget the favors you’ve done for others.

Many sisters complain that people don't want to marry them unless they stop wearing hijab. No man is worth your hijab, and a real man wouldn't request you to take it off in the first place.

Don't make your wedding a pleasant memory in this life but a source of misery in the next. Make it an eternally good memory. In trying to have a halal wedding, you might sacrifice many relationships but the opposite might mean sacrificing the only relationship that will matter in the hereafter for a bunch of people who don't even really care about you. Don't make one night the cause of your regret for an eternity.

I tell people this over and over again: don't attach your faith to people. People will come and go. People will disappoint you. People will divulge dark secrets. People will turn out to be the opposite of what you thought. Allah is perfect. His Messenger (peace be upon him) is a perfect example, and the religion is a perfect methodology. Attach yourself to the principles instead of the people. That way no Shaykh going wild or role model going rogue will be able to shake your faith.
