What I learned at a very early age was that I was responsible for my life. And as I became more spiritually conscious, I learned that we all are responsible for ourselves, that you create your own reality by the way you think and therefore act. You cannot blame your parents, your circumstances, because you are NOT your circumstances. You are your possibilities. If you know that, you can do anything.

I'm finally ready to own my own power, to say, "This is who I am." If you like it, you like it. And if you don't like it, you don't. So watch out; I'm gonna fly.

You are the author of your own life...Don't let others define it for you. Real power comes by doing what you are meant to be doing, and doing it well.

You will find true success and happiness if you have only one goal, there really is only one, and that is this: to fulfill the highest most truthful expression of yourself as a human being. You want to max out your humanity by using your energy to lift yourself up, your family and the people around you. Theologian Howard Thurman said it best. He said, “Don’t ask yourself what the world needs. Ask yourself what makes you come alive and then go do that, because what the world needs is people who have come alive.”

Well, I am a Christian who believes that there are certainly many more paths to God other than Christianity.

You really haven't changed, you've just become more of yourself. That is really what were all trying to do: become more of ourselves.

There is no paycheck that can equal the feeling of contentment that comes from being the person you are meant to be.
