This year I am choosing to live beyond my wildest dreams. I wonder where they'll take me.

I did not believe what I was told about being poor and black and female in Mississippi in 1954.

Take what you can do and use it for the highest good to benefit others.

We're all here to figure out how to best give ourselves away.

If we're really committed to growth, we never stop discovering new dimensions of self and self-expression .

I couldn't kill myself. I would be afraid the minute I did it; something really good would happen and I'd miss it.

For me at this time in my life I recognize that everything is about moving closer to that which is God. And without a full, spiritual center - and I am not talking about religion, I am talking about without understanding the fullness from which you've come you can't really fulfill your supreme moment of destiny.
