The remarkable thing about God is that when you fear God, you fear nothing else, whereas if you do not fear God, you fear everything else.

You do not know what you are going to do,the only thing you know is that God knows what He is doing.......It is this attitude that keeps you in perpetual wonder-you do not know what God is going to do next.

Our Lord’s making of a disciple is supernatural. He does not build on any natural capacity of ours at all. God does not ask us to do the things that are naturally easy for us- He only asks us to do the things that we are perfectly fit to do through His grace, and that is where the cross we must bear will always come.

God never gives strength for tomorrow, or for the next hour, but only for the strain of the minute.

The majority of us do not enthrone God, we enthrone common sense. We make our decisions and then ask the real God to bless our God's decision.
