Intercession means raising ourselves up to the point of getting the mind of Christ regarding the person for whom we are praying.

Service is the overflow which pours from a life filled with love and devotion.

Trust God, and do the next thing.

We imagine that whatever is unpleasant is our duty! Is that anything like the spirit of our Lord, "I *delight* to do Thy will, O My God.

If we obey God it is going to cost other people more than it costs us, and that is where the sting comes in. If we are in love with our Lord, obedience does not cost us anything, it is a delight, but it costs those who do not love Him a good deal.

There are many things that are perfectly legitimate, but if you are going to concentrate on God you cannot do them.

The Holy Ghost is the only One who can detect the temptations of Satan, neither our common sense nor our human wisdom can detect them as temptations.
