Let the attitude of your life be a continual willingness to "go out" in dependence upon God, and your life will have a sacred and inexpressible charm about it that is very satisfying to Jesus. You must learn to "go out" through your convictions, creeds, or experiences until you come to the point in your faith where there is nothing between yourself and God.

Prayer is an effort of will.

We look for visions of heaven and we never dream that all the time God is in the commonplace things and people around us.

Believe steadfastly on Him and everything that challenges you will strengthen your faith. There is continual testing in the life of faith up to the point of our physical death, which is the last great test. Faith is absolute trust in God-trust that could never imagine that He would forsake us.

We are not to preach the doing of good things; good deeds are not to be preached, they are to be performed.

Faith is unutterable trust in God, trust which never dreams that He will not stand by us.

For understanding in spiritual matters, the golden rule is not intellect but obedience.
