If you will receive yourself in the fires of sorrow, God will make you nourishment for other people.

Not often, but every once in a while, God brings us to a major turning point — a great crossroads in our life.

The one thing for which we are all being disciplined is to know that God is real. As soon as God becomes real, other people become shadows. Nothing that other saints do or say can ever perturb the one who is built on God.

Living a life of faith means never knowing where you are being led - but it does mean loving and knowing the One who is leading. It is literally a life of FAITH, not of understanding and reason- - a life of knowing Him who calls us to go.

Be persistent with your disturbance until you get face to face with the Lord himself. Don't deify common sense.

In the midst of the awesomeness, a touch comes, and you know it is the right hand of Jesus Christ. You know it is not the hand of restraint, correction, nor chastisement, but the right hand of the Everlasting Father. Whenever His hand is laid upon you, it gives inexpressible peace and comfort, and the sense that "underneath are the everlasting arms," (Deuteronomy 33:27) full of support, provision, comfort and strength.

Tolerating a wrong attitude toward another person causes you to follow the spirit of the devil, no matter how saintly you are.
