Many years ago, I started a foundation [Wayuu Taya Foundation] to help improve the life of Latin American indigenous people, providing them with food, medical attention, education, and also focusing on sustainability.

So struggling for work here has been very good for me, but it's also been very hard to handle rejection.

People say many things, but at the end of the day people can say what they want.

The universe always gives you what you need to grow into the person you are destined to become.

I also feel that if you were evil, then next time around you would be very good.

Anything that propels me to create, like [my book, Straight Walk]. It kept me inspired for almost four years.

If I need something, even a pair of socks, my assistant has to get them for me.
