If we are honest - and scientists have to be - we must admit that religion is a jumble of false assertions, with no basis in reality.

Renormalization is just a stop-gap procedure. There must be some fundamental change in our ideas, probably a change just as fundamental as the passage from Bohr's orbit theory to quantum mechanics.
