Why would we want fame, when God promises us glory? Why would we be seeking the wealth of the world when the wealth of heaven is ours? Why would we run for a crown that will perish with time, when we're called to win a crown that is imperishable?

I would not trade the difficult years for all the prosperity in the world. God knows what each one of us must suffer in order to be conformed to the image of Christ.

A Christian is not somebody who stays away from all the wicked things he loves and clings to all the righteous things he hates so that he can go to heaven. The fear of the Christian is not going to hell. The fear of the Christian is being separated from Christ.

Teach the Scriptures to your children daily, discipline your children consistently, and love your children unconditionally. If you do these things, you will have acted biblically.

When someone comes along later and tries to preach the Gospel to them because they're living in the world, they won't listen.

I don't want revival...I WANT CHRIST! And if we have Christ, there will be a revival.

Weight every purpose in the light of eternity. A trivial pursuit is that which is out side the will of God & detached from the glory of God.
