Are we willing to risk being misunderstood and maligned in order that truth might be told and men might be saved? God has ordained that men come to conviction of sin, repentance, and saving faith through preaching. What is holiness? The end product of what holiness is it's to love God in the same way He loves Himself; it's to esteem God as much as He esteems Himself, and to separate yourself unto that love, and to keep yourself in that love.

So you walk up to this man sinner and you say, "God loves you and He has a wonderful plan for your life!" and he goes, "What? God loves me? That's fantastic. I LOVE ME, TOO! And He loves me more than I love me? Well, that's hard to imagine. I'll take a God like that. You got two of them?"

Millions of people in this country whose lives have never been changed believed themselves born again because we have so reduced the gospel of Jesus Christ that it means now nothing more than simple decision that will only take five minutes of your time.

Maybe that is why there are not a whole lot of problems between the church and worldly culture today, because we are not confronting the culture around us.

When will we realize that one of the greatest mission fields in the West is the pews of our churches every Sunday morning?

Idolatry is when you become the source of your own joy. Poverty of spirit is a wonderful thing.

The MORE you Trust in the Arm of the FLESH, the LESS you're going to see of the POWER of GOD.
