I don't try to control my days.

I don't know what to do. I only know that it's taken me years to understand that life was pushing me in a direction I didn't want to go in.

You can't avoid pain, but you can choose to overcome it.

I'm alive. When I'm eating that's all I think about. If I'm on the march, I just concentrate on marching. If I have to fight,it will be just as good a day as any to die. If you can concentrate always on the present, you'll be a happy man. Life is the moment we are living now.

Teaching is only demonstrating that it is possible. Learning is making it possible for yourself.

Don't be like those people who believe in "positive thinking" and tell themselves that they're loved and strong and capable. You don't need to do that because you know it already.
