People want to change everything and, at the same time, want it all to remain the same.

Our true friends are those who are with us when the good things happen. They cheer us on and are pleased by our triumphs.

That is what marks out the warrior: the knowledge that willpower and courage are not the same thing. Courage can attract fear and adulation, but willpower requires patience and commitment. Men and women with immense willpower are generally solitary types and give off a kind of coolness. Nothing lasts forever ... pain and troubles included.

That is a question we cannot answer before, or even during, the trials. Only when we have overcome them do we understand why they were there.

If his decision is correct, he will win the battle, even if it lasts longer than expected. If his decision is wrong, he will be defeated and he will have to start all over again-only this time with more wisdom. But once he has started, a warrior of the light perseveres until the end.
