Things are as bad and as good as they seem. There's no need to add anything extra.

Patience has nothing to do with suppression. In fact, it has everything to do with a gentle, honest relationship with yourself.

If you spent the rest of your life just noticing that and letting it be a way to uncover the silliness of the human condition-the tragic yet comic drama that we all continually buy into-you could develop a lot of wisdom and a lot of kindness as well as a great sense of humor.

A further sign of health is that we don't become undone by fear and trembling, but we take it as a message that it's time to stop struggling and look directly at what's threatening us.
