We've been shooting the last two weeks with a lot of vampires. I don't want to give away too much, but if you've read the books, it's the standoff with lots of vampires in play. There's like 70 people going through the works at once. It's a little maddening, but fun. We shot pretty much the ending of the two movies the other day.
Peter FacinelliWhat I like about the third movie is you get to see a side of Carlisle you haven't seen before. You actually get to see what his vampire capabilities are because there's some great battle sequences. It's my favorite book. Carlisle is holding on to that humanity. He doesn't want to be a vampire.
Peter FacinelliI miss the woods. Sometimes I go on weekend trips and just wander the woods, barefoot and reminiscing, and I put my contact lenses in. Is that weird?
Peter FacinelliWe had a lot of rehearsals for the original Twilight to get the family to learn each other and experience each other, so we could all be like a family. We spent a lot of time together.
Peter FacinelliI read the books the day before I had met with the director Catherine Hardwicke. The first I heard of it was my agent called and said, 'Do you want to be in a vampire movie?' and I said 'No.' I thought it was like a zombie, blood-and-guts, vampire movie.
Peter FacinelliSometimes while you're cooking it's messy but the outcome is good. The end result is all that counts.
Peter FacinelliI don't like giving a gift just to cross the person off my list. They don't have to be extravagant or expensive things, they can be simple. Just helping my neighbor hang his lights was a great gift for me to give. He was an older gentleman who was having trouble putting up his lights, and it made me feel good to be able to help him.
