As gifts increase in you, let your humility grow, for you must consider that everything is given to you on loan.

In order to console a soul in it's sufferings, point out to it all the good it can still do.

Jesus wants to make us holy at all costs. . .He offers you continual proof of this.

The greatest act of faith is that which rises to your lips in total darkness together with the sacrifices, sufferings and wholehearted efforts of a determined will to do good. This act of faith strikes through the darkness of your soul like lightening. In the midst of tempest it raises you up and leads you to God.

Let us remember that the Heart of Jesus has called us not only for our own sanctification, but also for that of other souls. He wants to be helped in the salvation of souls.

Through the study of books one seeks God; by meditation one finds him.
