We are called to live our baptism every day, as new creatures, clothed in Christ.

Grace is not part of consciousness; it is the amount of light in our souls, not knowledge nor reason.

Advent increases our hope, a hope which does not disappoint. The Lord never lets us down.

It makes no difference whether they be Catholics, Orthodox, Copts or Protestants. They are Christians! Their blood is one and the same. Their blood confesses Christ.

Let us thank all those who teach in Catholic schools. Educating is an act of love; it is like giving life.

I wish to extend an invitation to solidarity to everyone, and I would like to encourage those in public office to make every effort to give new impetus to employment, this means caring for the dignity of the person, but above all I would say do not lose hope.

From the Cross, Christ teaches us to love even those who do not love us.
