Not to share one’s goods with the poor is to rob them and to deprive them of life. It is not our goods that we possess, but theirs.

There is a danger that threatens everyone in the church, all of us. The danger of worldliness. It leads us to vanity, arrogance and pride.

If we act like children of God, knowing that he loves us, our lives will be made new, filled with serenity and joy.

If a person is gay and seeks God and has good will, who am I to judge him? The Catechism of the Catholic Church explains this very well. It says they should not be marginalized because of this (orientation) but that they must be integrated into society. The problem is not having this orientation. We must be brothers.

Things have a price and can be for sale. But people have a dignity that is priceless and worth far more than things.

The imbalance results from ideologies which uphold the absolute autonomy of markets and financial speculation, and thus deny the right of control to States, which are themselves charged with providing for the common good.

Vanity, showing off, is an attitude that reduces spirituality to a worldly thing, which is the worst sin that could be committed in the church.
