If Jesus is to become the center of our life, we need to spend time in His presence, before the Tabernacle.

Let us open the doors to the Spirit, let ourselves be guided by him, and allow God's constant help to make us new men and women, inspired by the love of God which the Holy Spirit bestows on us! How beautiful it would be if each of you, every evening, could say: Today at school, at home, at work, guided by God, I showed a sign of love towards one of my friends, my parents, an older person! How beautiful!

Let us not close our hearts, let us not lose confidence, let us never give up.

Praise is the 'breath' which gives us life, because it is intimacy with God, an intimacy that grows through daily praise.

May the World Day of Consecrated Life be a timely occasion to rediscover the centrality of Jesus in our lives.

Human life, the person is no longer perceived as a primary value to be respected and protected, especially if poor or disabled, if not yet useful - such as the unborn child - or no longer needed - such as the elderly.

Let us pray for peace, and let us bring it about, starting in our own homes.
