Obsession with a consumerist lifestyle, above all when few people are capable of maintaining it, can only lead to violence and mutual destruction.

If I speak of Islamic violence, I must speak of Catholic violence.

Don't be afraid to go to the Sacrament of Confession, where you will meet Jesus who forgives you.

A good example brings about so much good, but hypocrisy brings about so much evil.

I cannot imagine a Christian who does not know how to smile. May we joyfully witness to our faith.

Do not be afraid of Confession! One who is in line to confess himself feels all these things - even shame - but then, when he finishes confessing, he leaves free, great, beautiful, forgiven, [...] happy. And this is the beauty of Confession... Jesus is there...and He receives you with so much love.

Ask yourselves this question: How often is Jesus inside and knocking at the door to be let out, to come out? And we do not let him out because of our own need for security, because so often we are locked into ephemeral structures that serve solely to make us slaves and not free children of God.
