Human trafficking is a crime against humanity. We must unite our efforts to free the victims and stop this increasingly aggressive crime which threatens not only individuals but the basic values of society.

Let us pray for all good and faithful priests who dedicate themselves to their people with generosity and unknown sacrifices.

I would like especially to mention you, the women, wives and mothers of Paraguay, who at great cost and sacrifice were able to lift up a country defeated, devastated and laid low by an abominable war. God bless your perseverance, God bless and encourage your faith, God bless the women of Paraguay, the most glorious women of America.

Jesus receives us with all of our limitations, He bring us the mercy of the Father who forgives us, and transforms our heart, rendering it a new heart, capable of loving Him, who loved His own to the end (cf. John 13:1). And this love is manifested in his mercy. Jesus always forgives us.

Listen to Jesus and follow him. That's the message of the Transfiguration.

The measure of the greatness of a society is found in the way it treats those most in need, those who have nothing apart from their poverty!

Missionaries never give up on their dream of peace, even when they experience difficulties and persecution, which makes their presence strongly felt today.
