We must avoid the spiritual disease of the Church that can become self-referential: when this happens, the Church itself becomes sick. It’s true that accidents can happen when you go out into the street, as can happen to any man or woman. But if the Church remains closed onto itself, self-referential, it grows old. Between a Church that goes into the street and gets into an accident and a Church that is sick with self-referentiality, I have no doubts in preferring the first.

God's image is the married couple, a man and women, together. Not just the man. Not just the woman. No, both of them. That's God's image.

As stewards of God's creation, we are called to make the earth a beautiful garden for the human family.

On a positive note, we must reaffirm the right of children to grow up in a family with a father and a mother capable of creating a suitable environment for the child’s development and emotional maturity.

Christians are those who let God clothe them with goodness and mercy, with Christ, so as to become, like Christ, servants of God and others.
