Our efforts must aim at restoring hope, righting wrongs, maintaining commitments, and thus promoting the well-being of individuals and of peoples.

We need courage if we are to be faithful to the Gospel.

Let us remember the words of Vatican Council II: 'Therefore from the moment of its conception life must be guarded with the greatest care while abortion and infanticide are unspeakable crimes.'

The joy of the gospel fills the hearts and lives of all who encounter Jesus.

We have to state, without mincing words, that there is an inseparable bond between our faith and the poor. May we never abandon them.

Every expression of true beauty can be acknowledged as a path leading to an encounter with the Lord Jesus.

A fundamental role in the renewal of society is played, of course, by the family and especially by young people.
