I think we too are the people who, on the one hand, want to listen to Jesus, but on the other hand, at times, like to find a stick to beat others with, to condemn others. And Jesus has this message for us: mercy. I think - and I say it with humility - that this is the Lord's most powerful message: mercy.

Dear young people, put your talents at the service of the Gospel, with creativity and boundless charity.

One cannot provoke, one cannot insult other people's faith, one cannot make fun of faith.

The Family is the salt of the earth and the light of the world, it is the leaven of society.

I see the church as a field hospital after battle. It is useless to ask a seriously injured person if he has high cholesterol and about the level of his blood sugars. You have to heal his wounds. Then we can talk about everything else.

Advent increases our hope, a hope which does not disappoint. The Lord never lets us down.

In the face of life’s difficulties, let us ask the Lord for the strength to remain joyful witnesses to our faith.
