If you're gonna tell your life story, you gotta be honest, or don't do it.

Once I started singing, I didn't have to try to be cool. I was just one of the coolest guys around.

My mother always told me if you write about life, you will always be in the game. Just don't write songs write life. I decided to take her up on that.
